Situation: In peanuts, spider mites and lesser corn stalk borers are showing up in area fields, some at economic levels. These pests are more prevalent where water is limited ("hot spots in a field"). Up
Coming Events: Topics to include current pest problems and crop termination. One C.E.U. in the General category will be earned at these meetings. |

West Texas Ag Chem Conference, September 19, Lubbock Terry County Farm Tour, September 20, the tour buses will leave from the First Baptist Church parking lot (Brownfield) at 9:00 A.M. West Texas Peanut Growers Research Farm Tour, the morning of September 21, contact either the Terry County or Yoakum County Extension office for more details.
